I have developed numerous online applications and scripts - view my portfolio. I have also contributed code to open source software projects, primarily AIStockBot. Applications cover many different areas.

Server Management:

Complete knowledge of hardware maintenance, server setup, installation, networking, and advanced configuration. I have performed numerous server migrations on both Linux/Unix and Windows servers. Migrations include moving all clients and their data, copying all configuration settings, and testing and verifying everything is correct - with zero downtime.

Database Management:

MySQL and Microsoft SQL Servers: planning and deploying database servers and databases themselves. Extensive knowledge of creating and maintaining databases, backups, recovery, replication and mysqlcluster database clusters.

Planned and installed LAN and WAN networking setups working for a datacenter in a carrier hotel and for an ISP.

Work Experience:

Cybercon, Inc. - 3/2003 - 6/2006 - Server and network administrator at a full service datacenter. Job duties included server and network administration and maintenance of a diverse computer network that included both Windows and Unix servers, as well as routers, switches, and firewalls. Other job duties included technical support to customers - phone, email, and in person, hardware maintenance, and support of multiple software programs.

Internet 1st, Inc. – 5/1997 – 7/2000 – I worked as a technical support representative for Internet 1st. I provided customers with solutions to their Internet-related problems over the phone, via e-mail, and in person. I assisted users on various platforms, including all versions of Windows and several versions of MacOS. Other duties included server maintenance, network diagnosis, and configuration of client ISDN routers.
